SFVBA Program: Ten Recent 9th Circuit Cases, Give or Take – This Friday

Email from Steve Fox:

To All:

We have a killer of a program for you this time around.  Here are the participants:

Honorable Maureen Tighe, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge

Christopher Wong, law clerk to the Honorable Maureen Tighe

Andrew Goodman (yes, Macky’s back)

Steven Fox

Along with a killer panel, the panel’s topic, 10 recent 9th Circuit level cases, give or take, of interest to the panelists and hopefully of interest to you.  The cases will cut across the bankruptcy chapters.  The panel will recite, discuss, argue, dissect, tear apart etc., these cases.  We will not have short discussions about a case for one minute and then a quick move to the next case.  Here the cases will be discussed in detail and played with a bit.  The panel will want comments from attending attorneys.  You will learn good practical information and spend an hour or so with good people.  Not bad for a Friday lunch meeting.
