Topic:

The panel will discuss the ethical duties and obligations of debtor’s counsel when dealing with actual, likely, and unlikely conflicts which arise during a bankruptcy case. Also discussed will be the ethics issues that arise while representing a corporate debtor, and when representing married individuals. Furthermore, the panel will discuss the importance of identifying possible conflicts prior to representation, with advice on conducting adequate pre-petition counseling and how to comply with various ethical concerns.
